The Author and other projects

My name is Alan James Salmoni and I am a freelance user experience professional that runs my own UX design and research company, Thought Into Design Ltd.

I wrote Salstat after years of teaching undergraduates (and later, postgraduates) how to do statistics. The biggest problems were often when they wrestled with the interface of packages like SPSS. I wanted something that was leaner, friendlier and just easier to use, so I wrote Salstat.
